It offers an immersive experience in traditional Himalayan Nepali village life, combined with nature, culture and sustainability. The Rhenock Homestays initiative provides warm hospitality, farm-fresh cuisine and a chance to unwind in a peaceful and serene environment. Ideal for families, solo travelers, student groups and organizations. It’s a gateway to experiencing authentic rural Sikkim.
The project promotes sustainable tourism, allowing visitors to engage in farming, cultural activities and spiritual experiences.
How to get here?
- By Air – The nearest airport is Pakyong Airport (PYG). Or you can choose to fly to Bagdogra Airport (IXB). From there, we can arrange a private taxi (extra charges applicable) or you can hire one from the airport.
- By Train – The closest railway station is New Jalpaiguri (NJP). From NJP, you can take a shared or private taxi to reach the homestay.
- By Road – Sikkim is well connected by road. You can hire a taxi to reach the homestay or let us know and we’ll help arrange a comfortable ride (extra charges applicable).

Is there Wi-Fi available ?
Yes, Wi-Fi is available in almost every house.
Does the homestay provide drinking water?
Yes, your hosts will provide boiled water, which is safe to drink. We encourage guests to opt for boiled water instead of plastic bottles to help protect the environment.
Are there Western toilets available?
There is a mix of squat and western washroom facilities within homestays. If you need a western washroom, please let us know when booking; we can allocate it if it is available.

Yes! We design packages that include everything from homestays, to cultural activities, to experiences to day trips, visits to hotspots in Kalimpong, Darjeeling etc.
Do I need to book in advance?
Yes, we recommend booking in advance, especially during peak seasons to secure your preferred dates.
What should I bring for my stay?
We suggest bringing –

Yes, we can arrange transportation from the nearest airport or railway station upon prior request. Additional charges may apply.
